A visual essay based on audio from Daniel Howell's book You Will Get Through This Night. All assets are created and animated in Adobe After Effects. I focused on grungy textures and a limited color palette to emphasize the overwhelming nature of mental health without support or guidance. This makes the color swap at the end all the more effective as a "light at the end of the tunnel" visual.

Animation of Refinery29's logo. Created in Adobe After Effects with the company's values of diversity, universal appeal, and modern feminism in mind. Between the animatic and the final, the draw-on style was extended to the borders of the screen to create more energy, with inverted colors for appeal and variety. The logo variants were remade to better represent the company's ideals.
